The plan
Six steps from the tri-school meeting to a class that runs on it.
- ✓
Tri-school meeting
Your ASB saw the Dos Pueblos hub and asked about a pilot.
- 2
Pilot agreement
A written quote, your PO or grant, and the district’s data-privacy sign-off.
Next - 3
Setup handoff
Your positions, constitution, clubs and calendars, sent over once.
- 4
Load-in
We build your org chart and council rules from your own documents.
- 5
Launch
Your leadership class signs in and runs a real week on it.
- 6
Check-ins
Feedback every few weeks. Pilot schools decide what gets built next.
What carries over
You’re in the same district as Dos Pueblos, so the hard part is already built.
Sign-in that works in SBUSD
The district blocks student Google accounts from outside apps, so students make their own account with their student ID and a class code. Staff can still use Google. Nobody is locked out on day one.
The district calendar, already in
SBUSD’s 2026–27 instructional calendar is built in: breaks, minimum days and no-school days are on everyone’s calendar from day one.
Your roster from the district’s own export
The leadership roster loads from the same StudentSquare report the district already produces. Names, grades and student IDs come in clean, and nobody retypes them.
Scan student IDs at events
Point a phone at a student ID at the student section or a volunteer shift. The name comes up, and the check-in is emailed to the attendance office.
California money rules
A plain-language digest of the FCMAT ASB Accounting Manual, the same rules your bookkeeper follows, next to your fundraisers and club money.
What’s yours alone
Your positions, constitution, council rules, clubs and committees are loaded from your own documents. Santa Barbara High’s hub is its own space: Dos Pueblos can’t see your class, and you can’t see theirs.
What we’ll need
One handoff, and we do the load-in.
From your advisor
- A yes on the pilot, and who signs off for the school
- The leadership class roster, or an OK to load it from the district export
- Who should see what: advisors, officers, commissioners, everyone
From your ASB officers
- Every officer, commissioner and class-council position, and who holds it
- Your constitution and bylaws (a Google Doc link is perfect)
- Your club list, with each club’s president
- The school’s Google Calendars for events and athletics
- When council meets, and how you vote
Later, if you want them
- Assembly and rally decks to bring into the slide studio
- A campus map, for a wayfinder visitors can use at Back to School Night

Santa Barbara High setup
Paying for it
Ready for a PO or a grant.
- 1 · Quote
A written quote for the pilot
Tell us who handles purchasing. They get a written quote made out to Santa Barbara High School.
- 2 · PO or grant
Your school’s paperwork, your way
Issue a purchase order, or put ASB HQ in a grant budget. Need a project description for the application? We’ll write it with you.
- 3 · Invoice
Billed against the PO
Nothing is charged before the paperwork is in place, and nothing about students is loaded before the district’s data-privacy review.
Questions from Santa Barbara High
Is this the same hub Dos Pueblos uses?
The same software, in a separate space. Your class, your documents and your data stay in Santa Barbara High’s hub.
Do we have to run our ASB like Dos Pueblos?
No. The org chart comes from your positions, and quorum, voting thresholds and officer duties come from your constitution, not theirs.
What happens with student information?
Nothing about students is loaded until the pilot agreement and the district’s privacy review are done. After that, only signed-in members of your leadership class see names and contact details, limited by role, and public pages never show a roster.
What does being a pilot school mean?
You run a real semester on it and tell us what’s missing. Pilot schools get setup done with them and a direct say in what gets built next.
